I hope 2011 brings health, happiness, and positive energy to everyone this year. Although my family was unable to stay up late enough to officially ring in the new year, we have been fully enjoying our New Year's Day. Mostly, that means staying at home and playing with toys, but Ava and I did take the afternoon off to meet Mamaw Karen at our local bowling alley. It was Ava's first time bowling, and she was EXCITED!
OMG, does she not look like a big girl in this shot? I still cannot believe how fast my kiddos are growing up. And man-oh-man, can she rock those bowling shoes! Believe me when I tell you we girls had a blast bowling together. I don't know why we never took Ava before, but I have a feeling we'll be back soon. In the meantime, here were our scores from the two games we bowled. Bear in mind we had the bumpers up for both rounds. Please don't laugh too hard! We bowled in the spirit of fun, rather than competitiveness, and in that regard we hugely succeeded! ;)
